Early-Morning Flights from Narita: Will the Hotel Shuttle Get You There in Time?

For an early flight, what matters is not your flight time but when the hotel shuttle's first departure gets you to the airport. Hotel shuttles have fixed first departures, so work backwards: could you take the first one and still arrive when you need to?

Check by flight time

Enter your departure date, flight time, terminal and international or domestic, and the official timetables show which hotels work for you.

Open the search tool

Required arrival time = departure time − time you want to be at the airport

This service works out required arrival time = departure time − arrival buffer (minutes): the time you want to be at the departures lobby. The default buffer is 120 minutes before departure, and you can change it in the search tool.

Example: for a 7:30 departure with a 120-minute buffer, the required arrival time is 5:30. We look for hotel routes that reach the departures lobby by then.

What SAFE, TIGHT, NOT_POSSIBLE and UNKNOWN mean

SAFE
On the official timetable there is a route that arrives at least 15 minutes before the required arrival time.
TIGHT
You make the required arrival time, but with less than 15 minutes to spare.
NOT_POSSIBLE
The registered official timetable does not get you there by the required arrival time.
UNKNOWN
The official sources do not publish a time or travel time, or the departure is outside the data we have registered, so we cannot say whether you make it.

Earliest registered shuttle departures

First departures differ by hotel. The earliest registered hotel departure in our data is 4:20. The earliest registered departure for each hotel is below (from the official timetables; check the official site for operating days and temporary timetables).

nine hours Narita Airport has no shuttle departures on record; we check the walking route instead.

Hotels where only early departures are registered

The hotels below currently have only early departures registered. If you need to reach the airport later than the registered range, the missing departures mean we cannot say you will not make it, so the result can be UNKNOWN.

Shuttle limitations in our data

These come from the official pages we checked. "Not stated" means the page does not say, not that the answer is no.

A hotel missing from a list is not confirmed either way (the sources may not state it, or may differ between departures). The per-hotel details are on the hotels page.

What to check before you book

Why we do not name one hotel for everyone

Which hotel works depends on your departure date and time, terminal, international or domestic, and arrival buffer, so this page does not single out a hotel. Enter your conditions in the search tool instead.
